Claudia Hentschel, Jahrgang 1964, studierte zunächst Volkswirtschaftslehre und dann Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit dem Schwerpunkt Maschinenbau und Produktionstechnik an der TU Berlin und, als Briand-Stresemann-Stipendiatin, an der Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC), Paris. Sie beendete 1991 Ihren Abschluss zum Diplom-Ingenieur.
Anschließend arbeitete sie am Doppelinstitut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Fabrikbetrieb (IWF) der TU Berlin / Fraunhofer Gesellschaft im Bereich Montagetechnik. Schwerpunkte ihrer dortigen Berater- sowie Lehr- und Forschungstätigkeit lagen in der Reorganisation der Produktion mittelständischer Betriebe hin zu teamorientierten Strukturen sowie in der Konzeption, Entwicklung und Einführung rechnerunterstützter Produktions- und Logistiksysteme von der Fertigung bis zum Recycling. Die Projektpartner waren hauptsächlich der Kommunikationstechnik, der Elektronik-, Automobil- sowie der Baustoffindustrie zuzuordnen. 1994 arbeitete sie, gefördert von der MINERVA-Stiftung, als Gastwissenschaftlerin am Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) in Haifa. 1995 bis 1996 leitete sie als Geschäftsführerin den Sonderforschungsbereich 281 zur Demontage von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten an der TU Berlin. 1996 promovierte sie im Maschinenbau bei Prof. em. Dr. h. c. mult. Dr.-Ing. E. h. Dr.-Ing. G. Spur und Prof. Dr.-Ing. G. Seliger zur Organisation von Demontagesystemen. Ihre Dissertation wurde 1997 vom Ausschuß für wirtschaftliche Fertigung (AWF) e.V. ausgezeichnet.
1996 wechselte Frau Hentschel als promovierte Ingenieurin zur Siemens AG, Bereich Information and Communication Mobile (ICM), in das Geschäftsgebiet Communication on Air, Mobile Radio. Dort war sie als Produktmanagerin in Projekten, die den weltweiten Aufbau schlüsselfertiger Mobilfunknetze zum Ziel haben, erfolgsverantwortlich für Produkte wie Antennenanlagen, Richtfunksysteme, Repeater, Tower Mounted Amplifier, Hochfrequenz-Funksystem-Kabel und Leckleitungen. Zuletzt leitete sie den Bereich Zulieferprodukte für die Funkschnittstelle von GSM-Mobilfunknetzen.
Seit dem 1.12.99 ist Frau Hentschel als Professorin am Fachbereich 3 Wirtschaftswissenschaften I der HTW Berlin berufen. Hier lehrt sie Innovations- und Technologiemanagement, Produktion, Produktentwicklung und Project Management sowie Organisation in deutscher und englischer Sprache. Dabei kommt es ihr insbesondere auf die Vermittlung von Methodenwissen an.
Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im technischen Management und Systems Engineering, insbesondere im Management von Erfindungen, Innovation, Entstehung und Entwicklung von Produkten und Prozessen, sowie die Anwendung neuer Technologien. Dabei stehen das Thema Systematic Innovation, Innovationsmethodiken und insbesondere die Methoden TRIZ, Six Sigma, DFMAS und Design Thinking im Fokus ihrer Tätigkeit. Als Trainerin, Seminarleiterin und Autorin arbeitet sie in diesen Feldern für unterschiedliche industrienahe Institutionen sowie Industrieunternehmen. Sie ist durch die International TRIZ Association MATRIZ zertifiziert und kann ein Buch zum Thema vorweisen, veröffentlicht im HANSER Verlag, 2010.
Seit 1986 ist Prof. Hentschel Mitglied des Vereins Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI) und seit 2007 sowohl Mitglied im European TRIZ-Centrum for innovative Problem Solving, als auch der European TRIZ Association (ETRIA). Seit 2017 ist sie gewähltes Board-Member der ETRIA. Die VDI-Gesellschaft Produkt- und Prozessgestaltung (VDI-GPP) berief sie 2013 in den Richtlinienausschuß FA320 „Innovationsmethodiken“, der zunächst die VDI-Richtlinie 4521 „Erfinderisches Problemlösen mit TRIZ“ erstellt. Blatt 1 der VDI-Richtlinie 4521 ist im April 2015 erschienen.
Im April 2004 wurde sie zum Mitglied des Akademischen Senats der FHTW (jetzt: HTW) gewählt und war vom Januar 2005 bis März 2006 dessen Vorsitzende. Von Oktober 2006 bis März 2007 ist Frau Hentschel Prüfungsausschussvorsitzende der zwei Studiengänge Bachelor und Master of International Business (BIB/MIB). Seit 2010 ist sie Vorsitzende der Auswahlkommission sowie Prüfungsausschussvorsitzende des Master of Industrial Sales and Innovation Management (MISIM). Darüber hinaus verantwortet sie die Beziehungen zu ausgewählten französischen Hochschulen im Rahmen dieses Studienganges, speziell Doppel-Master-Abkommen, mit der ESC Dijon Bourgogne. Ab Oktober 2017 bis September 2019 ist Prof. Hentschel gewähltes Mitglied des Fachbereichsrats am FB 3 der HTW Berlin.
Prof. Hentschel ist verheiratet und hat zwei Söhne. Sie liebt seit jeher das Schwimmen und praktiziert seit 1985 Hatha-Yoga, Laufen und Radfahren zum sportlichen Ausgleich. Seit sie 2001 von den business-artists, Bonn, „infiziert“ wurde, ist sie ein großer Fan von Improvisationstheater. Weitere Lieblingsbeschäftigungen sind Lesen (viel! sehr viel!), zeitgenössische Literatur, Spiele spielen (und entwickeln…), Kochen, Bücher (über Mathematik und Technikgeschichte) sowie bildende Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts, und, leider, aber immer wieder, Kriminalromane und Gerichtsfilme.
Claudia Hentschel, born in 1964, first studied economics, then industrial engineering, with focus on mechanical engineering and production technology, at the Technical University of Berlin, and, by means of a Briand-Stresemann scholarship, at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris. She is engineer by profession and received her diploma in 1991.
Her professional background highlights five years of research, teaching and industry consulting at the Department of Assembly Technology of the TU Berlin and Fraunhofer Society within the Production Technology Center Berlin. The work involved reorganizing the production process of medium sized companies towards teamoriented structures as well as conception, development and introduction of computer aided production and logistic systems. She consulted mainly communications, electronics, automobile and building material industries. In 1994, she worked, sponsored by a MINERVA scholarship, as a guest researcher at the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion), Haifa. Managing the Special Research Programme No. 281 on Disassembly of Electric and Electronic Products of TU Berlin from 1995 to 1996, she finished her doctorate of engineering on the Organization of Disassembly Systems under the leadership of Prof. em. Dr. h. c. mult. Dr.-Ing. E. h. Dr.-Ing. G. Spur and Prof. Dr.-Ing. G. Seliger in 1996. Her dissertation was awarded by the Ausschuß für wirtschaftliche Fertigung (AWF) e.V., Germany, in 1997.
In 1996, Claudia Hentschel changed to Siemens AG, Berlin and Munich, department Communication on Air, Mobile Radio, within the operation field Information and Communication Mobile (ICM). There she worked as a product manager in projects, aimed at the turn-key installation of mobile communication networks. She took responsibility for OEM-products as antenna plants, digital microwave transmission systems, repeaters, tower mounted amplifiers, high frequency cables and leaking cables. Finally, she managed the supply of OEM products for the radio subsystem of mobile GSM networks.
Since December 1999, Claudia Hentschel is professor at the University of Applied Sciences HTW Berlin. She teaches innovation and technology management, production technology, product development and project management as well as organization in german and english language and lays particular strength on the mediation of methodical skills.
Research fields focus on technical management and systems engineering, with particular attention to the management of inventions, product and process design and development, as well as of new technological applications. Her professional activities focus on Systematic Innovation, and within the innovation methods especially highlight TRIZ, Six Sigma, DFMAS and Design Thinking. As trainer, coach and author she offers seminars and publications in these fields for various close-to-industry institutions and industrial companies. She holds an International MATRIZ Certificate and has written a book on TRIZ, published by HANSER Verlag in 2010.
In 1986, she became member of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and since 2007 member of the European TRIZ Centrum for innovative Problem Solving and European TRIZ Association (ETRIA) alike. Since 2017, she is elected Board-Member of ETRIA. The VDI-Society Product and Process Design (VDI-GPP) appointed her to the Guideline Committee FA320 „Innovation methods“ in 2013, that first elaborates the VDI-Guideline 4521 „Innovative Problem Solving with TRIZ“. From October 2006 to March 2007, Mrs Hentschel is Chairman of the Examination Board of the two study programmes Bachelor and Master of International Business (BIB/MIB). Since 2010 on, she is both chairman of the admission and examination board within the Master of Industrial Sales and Innovation Management (MISIM). In addition, she sees to the relations with selected french Universites in the frame of this study programme, and accounts for the Double-Master-Programme with ESC Dijon Bourgogne. Starting in October 2017 and ending in September 2019, Prof. Hentschel is elected faculty council member of FB 3 at HTW Berlin.
Prof. Hentschel is married and has two sons. She always loved swimming and since 1985 actively practises jogging, cycling and Hatha-Yoga for sportive equilibrium. Since she got „infected“ by the business-artists, Bonn, in 2001, she is a big fan of impro-theatre. Further favourite „hobbies“ are reading (a lot!), contemporary literature, playing (parlor) games (and developping them…), cooking, books (esp. on mathematics and technology development), fine arts of the 20th century and, unfortunately, but over and over again, crime novels and court movies.
Claudia Hentschel, née en 1964, a commencé ses études en économie politique, puis a fait ses études d’ingénieur économique, axées sur la construction mécanique et la technique de production, à la Technische Universität de Berlin et, en tant que boursière Briand-Stresemann, à l’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris. Elle est ingénieur de formation et a obtenu son diplôme en 1991.
Elle a ensuite travaillé au Doppelinstitut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Fabrikbetrieb (IWF – Institut pour les machines-outils et les usines) de la TU de Berlin/Fraunhofer Gesellschaft dans le domaine de la technique de montage. Son activité portant sur le conseil, l’enseignement et la recherche était centrée sur la réorganisation de la production de moyennes entreprises, mais également sur les structures orientées sur les équipes et sur la conception, le développement et l’introduction de systèmes de production et de logistique assistés par ordinateur et ce, de la fabrication jusqu’au recyclage. Les partenaires concernés par les projets venaient principalement de la technique de communication, de l’industrie électronique, de l’industrie automobile et de l’industrie des matériaux de construction. En 1994, elle a travaillé, protégée par une bourse MINERVA, au sein du Israël Institute of Technology (Technion) à Haïfa en tant que chercheur étranger. De 1995 à 1996, elle dirigea, en qualité de directrice, le domaine de la recherche spéciale 281 concernant le démontage d’appareils électriques et électroniques à la TU de Berlin. En 1996, elle a soutenu sa thèse de doctorat d’ingénieur auprès du professeur G. Spur (Prof. em. Dr. h.c. mult. Dr.-Ing. E.h.) et du professeur G. Seliger (Prof. Dr.-Ing.) sur le sujet „Organisation de systèmes de démontage“. Sa thèse de doctorat a été récompensée en 1997 par le Ausschuß für wirtschaftliche Fertigung e.V. (Commission pour la fabrication économique – AWF).
Après son doctorat d’ingénieur en 1996, Madame Hentschel a travaillé pour la Siemens AG, dans le domaine Information and Communication Mobile (ICM), dans le secteur d’activité Communication on Air, Mobile Radio. En qualité de chef des produits dans le cadre de projets ayant pour objectif la mise en place, dans le monde entier, de réseaux de radiotéléphonie mobile clé en main, elle était responsable des produits tels que réseaux d’antennes, systèmes de radio relais, faisceaux hertziens, répéteurs, tower mounted amplifiers, câbles de systèmes de radio haute fréquence et conduites de fuite. En dernier, elle était responsable du secteur des produits de sous-traitance pour l’interface radio du réseau de radiotéléphonie mobile GSM.
Depuis le 01.12.99, Madame Hentschel est professeur en sciences économiques I, unité d’enseignement 3, à la HTW de Berlin. Ses cours en allemand et en anglais portent sur le management en matière d’innovations, de technologie, de production industrielle, de développement des produits, de projets et sur l’organisation. Il lui importe notamment de transmettre des connaissances méthodologiques.
La recherche est axée sur le management technique et le Systems Engineering, notamment la gestion des inventions, de la construction et de la recherche et conception de produits et de procédés ainsi que de nouvelles combinaisons technologie et application. Ses activitées professionelles se consacrent sur l’Innovation Systématique, les techniques d’innovation systématique, et surtout les méthodes TRIZ, Six Sigma, DFMAS et Design Thinking. En tant qu’entraîneur et auteur, elle donne des séminaires et conférences et offre des publications sur ces sujets-là pour nombreuses institutions proches à l´industrie et aussi bien que pour des entreprises industrielles. Elle tient un Certificat International MATRIZ et a publié un livre sur TRIZ, édité par HANSER Verlag en 2010.
Elle est membre de l’Association des Ingénieurs Allemands (VDI) depuis 1986 et ainsi que du European TRIZ Centrum for innovative Problem Solving et du European TRIZ Association (ETRIA) depuis 2007. En Octobre 2017, elle était élue dans le directoire de l’ETRIA. La societé VDI-GPP (Societé pour la conception des produits et processus) a assigné Prof. Hentschel membre de la commission FA320 „Méthodes d’innovation“, qui a pour premier but d’instituer la recommendation VDI 4521 „Solutionner des problèmes inventivs avec TRIZ“. Partie 1 de la recommendation VDI 4521 est plubliée en Avril, 2015.
En avril 2004, elle était élue membre du Sénat Académique de la FHTW Berlin (maintenant HTW Berlin) et était son président du Janvier 2005 jusqu’au Mars 2006. Dès le mois d’octobre 2006 jusque’au mois de mars 2007, Mme Hentschel préside le jury d’examen des deux programmes Bachelor et Master of International Business (BIB/MIB). Depuis 2010, elle préside aussi bien la commission d’accès que le comité d’examination du Master of Industrial Sales and Innovation Management (MISIM). En outre, elle est responsable des relations franco-allemandes dans le cadre du Double-Master de MISIM, sourtout avec l’ESC Dijon Bourgogne. A partir d’Octobre 2017 jusqu’au Septembre 2019, Prof. Hentschel est membre voté de l’unité de formation et de recherche au département 3 de la HTW Berlin.
Elle est mariée et mère de deux fils. Depuis 1985 elle pratique le footing, la bicyclette, et Hatha-Yoga pour l’èquilibre sportif et a toujours aimé la natation. Depuis son „infection“ par les business-artists, Bonn, en 2001, elle est adepte du tháâtre d’improvisation. Autres „hobbies“ sont lire (beaucoup!), la littérature contemporaine, jouer (et développer…) des jeux de table, faire la cuisine, des livres sur les mathématiques est l’histoire du développement technique ainsi que les arts plastiques du 20ème siècle et, malheureusement, de temps à autre, des romans policiers et des films relatant les procédures judiciaires.
